PROGRAM OBJECTIVE:
This program will provide participating practitioners the ability to identify frequent office maladies and inform them of the latest trends in medicine. This program is most relevant to primary care physicians, internal medicine physicians and surgeons, as well as physician’s assistants and nurse practitioners.

CME CREDIT:
The NWOOA certifies credit hours in conjunction with the Ohio Osteopathic Foundation. The Ohio Osteopathic Foundation is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians. No credit will be given to those physicians who fail to turn in their attestation form before departing the conference. No credit will be given for attending the ACLS course.  


This activity was planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Ohio State Medical Association (OSMA) through the joint providership of Mercy Toledo Continuing Medical Education and the Northwest Ohio Osteopathic Association (NWOOA). Mercy Toledo Continuing Medical Education is accredited by the Ohio State Medical Association (OSMA) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Mercy Toledo Continuing Medical Education designates this live activity for a maximum of 23.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.






Application for continuing medical education credit has been filed with the American Academy of Family Physicians. Determination of credit is pending. The AAPA accepts certificates of participation for educational activities certified for Category 1 credit from the AOACCME, Prescribed credit from AAFP, and AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ from organizations accredited by ACCME or a recognized state medical society.

 

The Ohio Board of Nursing will accept, at face value, the number of hours awarded for an educational activity that has been approved for CE, provided it was approved by a nationally accredited system of CE approval.
